Half of the world are women. The other half are their children.

Why

Womb is a home of humanity.

Regardless if a woman ever carries & births babies, her body is wired around her unique female physiology.

Women have cared for each other for millennia. We knew our bodies. We honored them and we were honored.

Right now, as mentioned in the documentary trailer below: “we are limping along barely surviving this era of women’s health.”

Being a woman is not a curse. We are not designed to suffer through life.

We need to revive the traditions that were there for us- that were simple, affordable and powerful.

And this is what both - steaming & rebozo are.

Why Steaming

In the nutshell: pelvic steaming is gentle, pleasurable and beautiful practice that brings circulation into the tissues - so that they can function as they are designed to.

It is literally what the name suggests: steaming the pelvic region of the body, by positioning the vulvar area above a bowl with warm water/tea and exposing it to a gentle steam. To learn more, you can click here and explore the rest of this website.

And sometimes images can bring more clarity than any amount of written text- watch documentary STEAM trailer on the left. This docuseries is going to shift cultures. It is done by Eva’s teacher- Keli Garza.

Why Rebozo

A rebozo is a traditional Mexican woven scarf. These textiles have been made by women, for women, to be used in women's rituals and everyday life. For hundreds of years, the rebozo has been used for carrying children, homemaking, pre- and postpartum rituals, adornment, and so much more. While the rebozo has a long history in Mexican and Latin American culture, similar woven cloths and scarves have been used across cultures around the world for support, carrying, and caregiving.

Rebozos are widely known for their role in the ritual Closing the Bones. During this ritual, the rebozo is used to bring gentle movement to the body and to create a sense of safe containment. They support the physical and energetic closing of - quite literally - the bones.

In this workshop, we will teach simple techniques for using the rebozo in your daily life. You will learn practical ways to use it as a source of comfort and support throughout your menstrual cycle, as well as how to incorporate it into your practice as an extra resource for tending and caring to yourself. For offering softness, physical support and groundedness.
